The Al Sharatan Gulf Council For Foreign Relations is an independent organization registered in the UK, connecting between the Gulf Co-operation Council countries and the World.
The GCFFR focuses on collaboration with various governmental (agencies and non profit organizations) in the Kingdom of Bahrain, GCC, and internationally to assist with sovereign goals and ambitions.

Jacques Santer
Born in 18 May 1937 is a Luxembourg politician who served as the 9th President of the European Commission from 1995 to 1999. He served as Finance Minister of Luxembourg from 1979 until 1989, and the 20th Prime Minister of Luxembourg from 1984 to 1995, as a member of the Christian Social People's Party (CSV), which was the leading party in the Luxembourg government between 1979 and 2013. As Prime Minister of Luxembourg he also led the negotiations on the Single European Act, which effectively set aside the 20-year-old Luxembourg Compromise.

Wilfried Martens
Born in 19 April 1936 – 9 October 2013) was a Flemish Belgian politician. He was born in Sleidinge (East Flanders). During his political career, Martens served as the Prime Minister of Belgium from 3 March 1979 to 6 April 1981 and 17 December 1981 to 7 March 1992.


Organize various forums, meetings, seminars, and workshops in which opinion leaders, government officials, academics, and other foreign-policy specialists discuss and recommend alternatives on critical regional affairs and their global implications.
The GCFFR is also a forum for debates and researches on critical subjects ranging from national security to democratic change in addition to Liaison between governments and cooperates to achieve mutual objectives.
OUR GOALS
To provide a forum that benefits the public through studies on the relation between the Gulf States and the world to promote education, investments, and disseminate knowledge with particular reference to the foreign relations of the Gulf Co-operation Council Countries (GCC).
Focusing on creative and innovative projects that is in the direction of Bahrain’s 2030 vision.

Al Sharatan is an investment and Track II Diplomacy vehicle. It provides an effective communication channel in order to reinforce national interests of the GCC people and governments through constructive engagement with counter-parties from all around the world. It acts parallely as a window and a bridge to maintain good relationships between the GCC and other countries.
